Ordinary Things is a collection of everyday objects—including a mirror, shelf, bowl, dose, and tray—reimagined as collectible pieces. The forms are CNC-milled in a rough, expressive way, not for precision, but to preserve the tool paths as decorative, textural elements.
After milling, the surfaces are treated efficiently with flocking or rubber paint, creating a finish that is visually rich and ornamental. While the objects appear playful and refined, the process emphasizes speed, effectiveness, and fabrication, turning a prototyping method into a strategy for producing unique, aesthetically engaging objects.
