This trophy design is inspired by a fragment of a basketball net, reinterpreted as a symbol of the connections, experiences, and shared moments that shape every achievement. The repeating net element is bent, layered, and intertwined to create a dynamic three-dimensional form, reflecting the unique journey behind each award. Produced using MJF 3D printing and combined with hand-blown glass, the trophy brings together contemporary digital manufacturing and traditional glassmaking. Instead of placing the award information on the base, the recipient’s name and award details are engraved directly into the glass, placing the laureate at the heart of the trophy. The transparency of the glass, together with the engraved text and gradient mesh structures, creates subtle visual effects of light, depth, and layering that continuously change with the viewer’s perspective.
