The Blooming Book is a symbolic trophy commissioned by Panta Rhei. The piece takes the familiar form of a traditional book, yet from its top emerges a large, flower-like structure, as if the book itself were blooming. This transformation embodies the project’s guiding idea: May the love of reading help us all flourish.

The object is composed of layered, 3D-printed parts that are heated and flexed after printing, allowing the rigid material to take on organic, curved shapes. Through this process, the form captures a moment of growth—pages unfolding, knowledge expanding, ideas taking root.

By merging the symbolic language of books with the expressive potential of digital fabrication, The Blooming Book reflects on reading as a living process—one that continually evolves, inspires, and connects.
