With Love from Planet Earth is a collection of snow globe–like objects that act as unified souvenirs from our planet. At first glance, they resemble traditional snowballs, yet inside there is nothing but “snow” made of shiny, colorful fragments of plastic—recycled from domestic waste. As these pieces swirl in a slow, mesmerizing dance, they both enchant and unsettle the viewer.

The project reflects on the global issue of plastic pollution, suggesting that plastic waste has become the one material unifying all countries across the world. In this poetic yet critical gesture, the snowball becomes a symbol of our shared environmental footprint—an artifact of a planet where even beauty and contamination have merged.

The work poses an open question: if we were to send souvenirs from Earth into space, would these glittering plastic snowballs represent who we are?
